Any field that you leave blank won't affect your generated code, that just simply will be at default color. When you are done, check the "Show Code" box and highlight over the code and copy it. Paste it into your "About Me" section and save changes. Your profile should look identical to the live preview, unless you have another code that is messing it up.

If you want to make your profile/layout tiny then just check the checkbox on the left. You can leave everything else just default or you can change it if you know what your doing.
To make your profile look tiny, you might want to make sure all your text sizes are small, maybe make them 8px-10px. Also dont forget to keep checking the Live Preview and when your satisfied with the layout then just check the checkbox that says "Show Code". That will show you the layout code that you need to copy to your profile in About Me Section.
