How-To's: Making Brushes

To make your own brush, open the image of the brush you wish to make. For this tutorial, I will be using this heart below. Go ahead and use it and follow along.

Once you have the image open, select which parts of the image you want to be the brush. If it's the whole thing, don't worry about selecting anything. Next, go to:

When the window pops up, choose a name for your brush and press 'Okay'. The brush is now located in your /Brushes folder with the rest.

To use your new brush, click on the paint brush tool and select your brush!
